Car Maintenance and Repair Services Overview

Just like our companions, regular "check-ups" (maintenance) and prompt "treatment" (repair) are crucial for ensuring the safety, reliability, and long-term operation of the vehicle. Below, we will introduce the services into two main categories:

Part One: Routine Maintenance Services (Preventive Maintenance)

The core of maintenance is "prevention". Through regular inspections, replacements, and adjustments, it can avoid major failures at a small cost and extend the vehicle's lifespan.

1. Basic Minor Maintenance (usually performed every 5,000 - 10,000 kilometers or every 6 months)

Core items:

Changing engine oil and oil filter: The "blood" and "kidney" of the engine. Cleaning the engine oil can effectively lubricate, cool and clean the interior of the engine. It is the most fundamental and important item in maintenance. o

Full vehicle inspection: The technician will quickly check the tire pressure, lights, wipers, various fluid levels (brake fluid, coolant, windshield washer fluid), etc. o

Objective: To maintain the basic health of the engine.

2. Comprehensive Major Maintenance (performed approximately every 20,000 - 40,000 kilometers or every 2 - 4 years, refer to the User Manual for details)

Core items (added on top of the regular maintenance):

Replace the "three filters": Besides the oil filter, it also includes the air filter (to ensure the air entering the engine is clean) and the air conditioning filter (to ensure the air quality inside the vehicle). o

Replacing spark plugs: Affects ignition efficiency, fuel consumption and power. o

Replace various types of lubricating fluids: o

Brake fluid: Prone to absorbing water, which reduces performance and affects braking safety.

Transmission oil (with filter): Crucial for smooth shifting and the lifespan of the transmission.

Coolant (antifreeze): Prevents engine overheating and ice formation in winter.

Power steering oil (if present). o

Detailed inspection: This includes checking the thickness of brake pads/brake discs, the wear and aging condition of tires, whether the chassis components (ball joints, tie rods, rubber sleeves) are loose, and the health status of the battery. o

Objective: Conduct a systematic inspection and maintenance of the vehicles to ensure that all core systems are in good condition.

3. Seasonal/Special Maintenance

Air conditioning system maintenance: It is recommended to clean and disinfect the system before summer, and add refrigerant if necessary.

Tire rotation and dynamic balance: Perform tire rotation every 1-2 thousand kilometers to ensure even wear. Dynamic balance must be done after tire replacement.

Four-wheel alignment: Perform alignment when the vehicle veers, the steering wheel is not straight, or after replacing chassis components to prevent abnormal tire wear.

Fuel system cleaning: Regularly clean the fuel injectors and intake ducts to alleviate carbon deposits.

Brake system maintenance: Clean and lubricate the brake booster pins, and inspect the brake pads and discs.

Part Two: Common Repair Services (Restorative Maintenance)

When a vehicle experiences malfunctions or abnormalities, diagnosis and repair are necessary.

1. Mechanical and Engine System Repair

Common Issues: Engine abnormal noise, vibration, insufficient power, oil leakage, excessively high water temperature, abnormal exhaust emissions, etc.

Service Contents: Fault code reading, mechanical component inspection, replacement of damaged parts (such as timing belt/twin-spool, water pump, sensors, sealing gaskets, etc.), major engine overhaul (in extreme cases).

2. Chassis and Suspension System Repair

Common Issues: Abnormal driving noise, loose chassis, steering deviation, shock absorber oil leakage.

Service Contents: Replacement of shock absorbers, lower arm, ball joints, tie rods, rubber sleeves, as well as four-wheel alignment adjustment.

3. Brake System Repair

Common Issues: Abnormal braking noise, soft braking, pedal vibration, warning light illumination.

Service Contents: Replacement of brake pads, brake discs, brake oil lines, or repair of brake booster, ABS pump.

4. Electrical and Air Conditioning System Repair

Common Issues: Battery depletion, dim headlights, window malfunction, air conditioning not cooling/heating, central control system failure.

Service Contents: Circuit inspection, replacement of battery, bulbs, switches, sensors, compressor, condenser, etc. electrical components.

5. Tire and Wheel Service

Service Contents: Tire repair (mushroom nails, patches), replacement of new tires, wheel repair or replacement.

6. Accident Vehicle Repair

Service Contents: Body sheet metal repair, painting, replacement of damaged body panels and structural components, frame correction, etc.
